An old species i created 2 years ago but never really did anything with.
They very closely resemble a zebra x llama cross, despite being thought to belong to the same family as okapis. They come in any color found in horses, but always have a black and white striping pattern on their heads that may extend as far as the shoulders.
They live in herds of anywhere from 5-20. Stallions with the most striking coloration get first pick in mares, leaving the rest of the stallions to fight for the remaining mares. Zeyamas with pale or nonexistent striping often live as outcasts among the herd, or are chased out and forced to live alone.
They've been domesticated for use as a pack animal and as companions, but make poor mounts due to their long necks and stubborn nature.
This girl's name is Candace. She's some sort of bay.
They're pretty uncreative, but I'm kind of attached to them.
