You can see why they call these birds salmon-crested cockatoos. :)

This is Jodie, an adult female moluccan cockatoo that I recently adopted. She's my second parrot, my long term resident here is a blue and gold macaw named Ara.
Jodie is 16 years old and a truly wonderful bird, her previous owner was in graduate school and traveling out of the country a lot and just didn't have the time for her anymore, but she's been very well cared for.
