I am going to be making some modifications to Akiro over the next few days. I did not like the way the ears, paws and feet looked with the tricolor fur buzzed down (and wrong direction on ears). The ears I am going to re-fur to black along with the feet toes. The palms of the paws I am going to make white fur so that the contrast between the paw pads and the fur can be seen better.
I also brought Akiro's eyes forward but ran into a little problem when I did so.... now he looks bug eyed.... to fix this I am experimenting with some eye lids but I am VERY MUCH open for ideas and suggestions please (as most of my attempts have failed horribly.
The cheeks and lips I also modified with making the white fur go back further and adding fur between the upper and lower muzzle to give a more closed mouth look when pictures are taken (looked like Ike from South Park with the unhinged mouth lol.
I might also make the ears a bit longer so they can be played with more, but I am not sure if that is proportionally a good idea. Suggestions are open for that too please. All around let me know what you guys think if you see anything that may be worth working on. (I also have a fan in the muzzle that I need to move the battery pack to the BACK of the head so the front is not as heavy.)
