Tatiana Bryzov came to the Songmark Aeronautical Boarding School for Young Ladies on Spontoon Island from the Soviet Union, and is (apparently) a member of the Soviet secret police. At any rate, the sable was a devoted follower of Iosif Starling, something that caused her no end of friction with her fellow students (particularly one of her dorm-mates, a Trotskyite Fourth Internationalist).
Let's just say they fought. A lot.
She also got adopted by a native Priestess, and later married a very English girl (yes, you heard me right).
