Some binturong facial studies I'd drawn up yesterday (and a little today as well). I'd wanted to do this for while to help me get better familiarized with the forms so that I could draw my character/would-be-fursona, who happens to be a binturong. References were used for the skull. I still want to do some more studies to help me get more practiced in drawing the forms and stylizing it a bit :)

Honestly this is the first time I've really taken the time to do something like this. I've always felt a lot of the heads I drew for different species tended to look very much alike so I'd wanted to take some time to better get to know the creatures I'm drawing so that I could learn to get over this problem. I've felt its been a good exploration thus far, and it's been great to get back to doing some traditional work, even if it is just pencils and sketching :)
