ohh my god! the details in this are mind blowing! the hair, and texture of the tent 0_0 and your coloring is impeccable - this is really great! i love how it kind of has an apocalypse-esque feel to it, too. nice job, this is a great piece!

whilst i was drawing this, i was going for the feeling of an intense feeling of isolation.. being deserted.. alone etc, but intertwined with deep reflections and heavy choices, if that makes sense?

yeah, i can totally see that, esp how kate is sort of bundled up and almost within herself in the scarf. very nice, and expressive.
