Ivan is Hector's brother, but were separated when they were still young. Hector and Ivan's childhood memories was grim. When Ivan was 8 and Hector was 5, their first house burnt down. Hector was stuck in the house during the tragedy, but Ivan managed to save his brother. Upon exiting the burning house, Ivan's right eye were injured by a wooden beam falling right in front of him. Leaving a scar on his right eye. 6 months later, their parents divorced and Ivan was taken into custody by his mother leaving his younger brother with his father. By the age of 18, his mother moved to Greenland. Graduated, Ivan now works as a marine biologist. Finally, after 20 years of separation, Ivan finally met with his younger brother, Hector. First meetings with long separated brothers would always spell awkward, but in this case, they bonded almost instantly. They would meet up sometimes during weekends. However Ivan's job as a marine biologist would mean that he would have to travel a LOT. He still keep in touch with Hector though, and often called by Hector whenever he needs advice. Ivan's love life isn't really 'active' because travelling around made him hard to maintain a relationship. However, Ivan can be a real 'Love Guru' due to his (many) failed attempts to maintain a relationship. His right eye is still functioning well, but Ivan prefers to keep an eye patch over it. Mainly because of:-
i) It made him look like a pirate (being on ships and all :P)
ii) Doesn't really want others to see the scar and often lie to people about it because it brings to much bad memories
iii) It was made by Hector just before they separated, and it was made quite big claiming Ivan would grow into it (which he did)
Wow, if you read it all the way, you really are something. Anyway i would like to apologize to any grammar nazi out there for my grammar. (not a native speaker)
