This is the new prototype Alastor. Subject lives in a basement now (despite the social stigma this an upgrade, trust me) and has a reproduction of "The Garden of Earthly Delights" on his wall, obviously included in the shot for added pretentiousness. This new model sports a more refined, minimalistic hairstyle that is still in it's prototypical stages and does not at all make him appear to be of the opposite sex and/or a freaky confused, goth kid.

This is most likely a type of camouflage to blend in with what the subject would refer to as "boring, conformist bourgeois society." This is because subject most likely endured some plebeian yet disproportionally traumatizing event in high school that he nevertheless internalized and consequently caused him to develop a lack of self-esteem and social skills.

Subject is also prone to psychoanalyzing himself in a tongue-in-cheek manner and breaking the 4th wall in a mockery of objectivity in the social sciences. Subject knows this critique of logical positivism will likely go over the heads of his human companions but nevertheless chooses to include it because of intellectual insecurity due to not having attended college and/or not having any relevant academic outlets.
