Don't stereotype by species. It could undermine your message. Maybe you could pick by physical attributes instead of "personality". If you're going for another dog breed, you could even pick something beloved and sweet, like a Lab, to really bring home the point that dogs are individuals just like humans, and that prejudice against pit bulls is wrong.

Bull works for me. Bulls are pretty neutral, mythology-wise. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I like it.
