I never like starship troopers but I enjoyed the movie which was a gigantic parody to the action movie genre.
and yes Robert Heinlein later stuff is really good.
as for game of thrones, well I really like the TV show but never read the series. I kind of do not want to read them because of spoilers.
I now respect you for some odd reason,

Eh, I never saw any of the movies but what snippets I have seen just make me roll my eyes.
Yeah, I haven't gotten around to reading Stranger in a Strange Land yet but I hear it's some of his best. The book Starship Troopers though... Blegh, so glad I started my reading in that genre with Hammer's Slammers and Starfist. Might have totally killed my interest in military sci-fi otherwise.
Game of Thrones, from what I gather from people who watched the show, the original books break at roughly the same time as each of the seasons. Just finished book one about a month ago and it ends with the birth of the three dragons. Overall I have to say I'm impressed with the series, but that's probably because it's nice to see a fantasy world where magic isn't the answer to everything.

hmm have you ever read THE FOREVER WAR? I really like that book a lot!
yeah I really like the show much better than the books.
there is a really cool review done by Luke Burrage for the Game of Thrones book. it is here: http://www.sfbrp.com/archives/166
I really like how he review books, he mostly does SCI-FI books but once in a blue moon. he will do fantasy.

no but I've heard good things about it. Story has it the author of that book was one of the Nam generation who was pissed at Heinlein for Starship Troopers and inadvertently started a genre. I think I'll pick it up if I can find it.
Oh the books are indeed good if you prefer them over the show, though the change in perspectives (every chapter is viewed by a different character) throws a few people off.

The most amusing thing about Game of Thrones was when George R.R. Martin posted on his site forum that he was going to take a vacation and all his "devoted fans" were like, "How DARE you take a vacation before you've finished writing all the books in the saga, you BASTARD?!"
ok, so i noticed the great book of HHGG, and ''ASH, CLOCKWARD ANGEL'', or the book from ''oblivion'', but what do they reffer to?
great drawing, and i love how cute the pony looks. whats it's name? starlight, or..?
also, i always love how your drawing style/paper, always makes your drawings to look like old-ink illustrations, on acient books/fairlytales.
wonderful colours, and drawing style.
great work
