More from boilerwash
Current end of track for the Big South Fork Scenic Railway at Worley, KY. The rails continue on through the brush for a couple of more miles but haven't seen a train since the 1960's. The railroad wants to rebuild the last remaining miles sometime in the future.

i hope they get the chance to. i've seen so many of these kinds of projects (in the u.s.) that didn't.
(unlike preservationists in places that haven't haven't forgotten to take pride in their rail heritage, who appear to be much better encouraged by their governments and popularly supported)
