well, that colouring technique looks good! ^^ no objections from my side. :)
I love the blue hues you gave him. originally I wanted him to have a fuzr like blue steel, but somehow it didn't work; now he's cobalt blue. *shrugs* :)

I wasn't so sure from his reference, it looked like a mid-dark blue on my end. 9_9 - Went with a dark shade scheme to make the lighting more interesting (with the glowy staff and magic). Should you want him lighter I am sure something can be done :3
