Some of the voice acting in the american dub sounds like they were reading form the script, they don't emote the character's very well and who ever voiced Minmai was awful.

mm, i see. fortunatly the original here was done by people with several experience and that put emotion in the characetrs x3

never saw Robotech? =3 is a VF-1A, incredibly is a mecha able to transform into a plane, altought not in my figure´s case xD
