I don't care if your gun is bigger... Mine still has a better rate of fire... Though less bullets It also still has less recoil... L85A2 FOREVAR!!!! I SHALL MARCH TO VICTORY WITH MY L85A2 TO SCOTLAND THE BRAVE!!!

Screw that, the M60E04 Will take that pea-shooter apart any day of the week and TWICE on sunday. .30 Caliber NATO Round coupled with a reliable tried and trued form and unstoppable firepower make it the ultimate support weapon! Based off of the legendary WWII German MG42, the M60 has seen action in Vietnam and all wars after- and has now become the staple American LMG. Favored by American forces stationed all over for its impeccable adaptability, reliability, and devastating fire-power! Even though newer LMG's, like the M45 IAR, M249 SAW, and even the L85A2 are becoming more standard Issue, many ground troops still prefer 'The Big Pig', the wild-boar, the American M60.
All-American, Lead-Hell Baby! Fuck YEAH.

... -Evil grin- O rly?
Alright... I'll play along... Yes your So impressive M60 Is a great weapon... But! Just because it's big and mean doesn't mean it's better... For these reasons, and these reasons alone... I'll let you decide why I still personally believe the SA-80, G36C are better weapons.
M6
Always seems to jam in fire fight situations, (can't sustain itself for long periods of fire)
Accuracy counts for hell when you don't include your bipod... Without it you might as well try throwing rocks at a fly.
The M60's Heat valve has MAJOR issues with keeping the weapon cool and stops it from preventing premature explosion (thought I believe that was eventually fixed... I still wouldn't trust my life with this weapon)
SA-80
Will not Jam easily even when the weapon is not clean. Chances of the weapon jamming are 1 to 100 per clip
Accuracy is fairly average without Bipod it remains easy to pick targets and hold them. (That includes greater accuracy and suppression, guaranteed to keep your enemies from popping in and out for pot shots)
The weapon is lighter obviously and much more mobile than the M60, Proving greater movement around the battlefield and allowing more ground to be covered.
And personally my favourite argument...
G36C
...Never... EVER EVER!!! Will this weapon jam... it's physically Impossible, So :D
Nice arguing with you, I know facts will not change your mind... In the future... there will be a better gun that will wipe the floor with the good old SA-80... And no matter how many MM missiles the weapon fires or grenades it launches or acid rounds it fires... The SA-80 in my eyes will always be top dog. Just like you, the M60 is your thing... Nothing is better, I respect that... None the less It's been fun talking.

The M16 Classic jammed often, but the newer models IE: M16A3 and M16A4 are much improved, the M16A4 is single shot and three round burst, used by the US Marines, For very accurate fire.
The M60 Is also not supposed to be fired continuously anyway, 'burping' the machine gun is the correct method of use, this reduces recoil, overheating, and ammo waste. The M60 Is a Machine gun also, it is a squad support weapon for specialists, limited mobility is a constant factor.
For instance, the SCAR-H, a good damn Rifle, .30 caliber 7.62 rounds coupled with fantastic accuracy and range. Recoil is a bitch, but when fired in controlled bursts it will blow anything out of the water.
And the M416, the new age of assault rifle tech, highly modifiable there are even DMR and LMG Versions of this gun LMG: M45 IAR, and DMR: M417. the M416 is due to replace both the M4 and M16A3 soon, acting as both a Carbine and Assault rifle, 5.56 standard rounds, high fire rate, accuracy, light weight, remarkably low recoil and high reliability make this gun unmatched by any other in terms of versatility.
Nice debating with you to, and I will concede to the fact that the L85A2 is of smart design and does its job to perfection as an infantry assault rifle, a Bull-pup configuration makes for better range and Accuracy, and a higher muzzle velocity, but may take away from the weapons versatility, making it harder to change to a DMR rifle unlike the M416 or M16A3-and-A4.But to tell the truth, If I had to pick a weapon for long range engagements I might choose L85A2, if the AR-15 series and M416 were unavailable.
The G36C I will agree is a magnificent weapon in terms of fire rate, mobility, reliability, and accuracy. HIGHLY Customizable, it is true to its German Background in quality, though I think it may soon be overlooked by the newer and more cutting edge SCAR Weapons, IE: SCAR-H, SCAR-L.
A Pleasure Debating with YOU!!!! :3
