The General's Emperor
In the previous picture of the Roman Empire there is hint of some backstory: The General and his Legionnaires as well as the statue of the Emperor Lion in the background. Once I had concluded work on "The Empire" I wanted to elaborate on some of the characters and came up with this portrait of the General and his Emperor.
