Coyote, I believe you should start a comment chain that keept track of all bids currently placed, and one so that others can be alert to the bidding going on. like put a comment saying "BID HERE" in bold letters, along with the (at this moment) current bid... it would keep it more streamlined and less confusing...

Looks like you took care of it; I'd suggest notifying the earlier bidders too, and hiding unnecessary comments (like mine) to keep it as streamlined as possible... but daaaaang, this is really escalating quickly. :D
