They are only pricey if you can find them somewhere else or can make your own. If you can't, then they can charge what they want. As a printer, I can appreciate the fact that custom work takes time, and these guys are in Europe, too, which makes production costs higher. Personally, I don't think it's such a bad deal, but then again, I could make my own stuff as I run a print shop and have some of the same production capabilities. Of course, I wouldn't do a room 366 item as it is their creation, but please cut them some slack. These guys do some really nice stuff for the Fandom. My 2 cents worth.
They are just a collar and tag for "Room 366" that you can get with just the Room 366 on it or have your fursona name on it as well or just your fursona name... they are really really nice and the fur that is making them is a really wonderful guy... you should check into getting you one... never too young for some class added to your suit/fursona. I would love to have one of the collar & tags... I just can't justify $50 for it yet.... ears and a fox tail... YOUR FURRIE... he he he... you would be fine, but if you want to attend a con you would have to have signed statement from the con signed by your parents and I think notarized to allow you in... the min age for no requirement is 18, but all ages can attend, check what the convention rules are, they are tons of fun for all. Very much agreed. The only thing that I could possibly not get from a normal, automated machine that charges $5 for one of these, would be the weirdly shaped R, and a picture on it.
A nice leather collar like that can be bought for about $5 more, and you can easily just have a name put on there by the machine, still for the same $5 you put in.

Personally, I would not be suprised if The whole ' Posting the video up ' thing was actually a ploy to get THIS started. It was obvious such a video would easily become viral.
The fact of the matter is, this could have all been lined up, like a marketing ploy, to sell cheap items at exorbant prices. Companies do this all the time.
And lets be honest, the furry community eats both drama ( The Video ) and collars ( The product ) right up. This is just too well set up to have all been a matter of coincidence, and I do mean the ' Accidental ' video release.

Well I do have to defend EZWolf, he is a great film maker in the fandom, and he seems to be a great guy... I love all the short film's that he has done, I also own a copy of Bitter Lake, I love that movie... I know his camera equipment ain't cheap not to mention all the other stuff to make movies... the collar don't seem like it's that great of a product in the picture, but the tag on the other hand is very nicely done... but, again, I cannot justify the price for it... so all of us poor furs miss out on yet another nice thing... such a deal, huh ?. EZWolf how long he would have these, and he told me till at least June of 2013, so you got time... thanks for the suggestion and I ran with it, could not decide really if I wanted to put $100 with my Christmas money and get the Go Pro camera special that Walmart had or get the collar and tag... well, you seen what won out, but still want the cam before AC next year. *big hugs*. well, as comented that it's leaked out, I found several links to it on youtube. In one way, Im glad it's public cause it looks realy good to me. ON otherhand, I can see why be upset about it. Not all participants may wanted to been in naughty vids if was to be public. *snicker* maybe next time, there be otters to spice it up a bit more!

YYYEEEEEEESSS!!!NOW i CAN HAVE ONE OF THOSE ..I mean I already have a collar (nothin' fancy got it at wal-mart fur crying out loud)but I saw 'lost' and wanted one because1;they're cool looking and 2: they're leather and 3: ...wish they were wider though wide collars are even more bad a##!!!

The Room 366 collar is nicer but my fursuit is black so I was afraid it might get washed out, the one I have is a crappy wal-mart collar for under 10$ american. I wouldn't use it on my dog, because it feels sorta flimsy, but as a costume piece it's okay.
The nametag is GREAT though! It feels sturdy and solid, looks beautiful, and its easy to adapt. (I had it on a lanyard for a while.)
