It's from Izhevsk, it's a standard M91/30 from '43. It's been rearsenaled and most of the parts appear to be Izhevsk although I think part of the bolt may be Tula, hard to tell. It's not counter bored and the barrel is in pretty good shape which is nice.

I'm still searching for the ex sniper myself, would be great to find. and or a real sniper mosin, that would simply make my day.
though personally at this rate, with all i plan to do to my own mosins i may as well have several stocks laying around... which means more mosins.

I've been thinking about moding this one with a repro PU scope. Kinda gave up looking for real mosin snipers. I have been thinking of looking for a nice old hex receiver mosin to just restore though. I've also been contemplating doing a painted stock set for my PTR.
