What SAI tools and transparencies do you use for all the soft color and shading in your artwork, if you don't mind me asking? It really comes out well.

Thank you very much. I personally think it's the laziest way to color ever, which was why I adopted it in the first place. Found it easier and more appealing than cell shading. x3

Alright, after you've gotten your line-work done, you're going to need to lay down your flats all on a separate layer for each different piece that you're coloring.
After that, I use the "preserve opacity" lock. It's located above the layers boxes.

I work almost exclusively with the brush tool on the original color layer from there. I highly suggest using a tablet with different pressure levels so that it can actually blend. There's also a slider you can use for the tool to adjust how much it blends along with other options.
