This is the first photo of my foal.
I found my two jacks grazing in my front yard but my jenny no where to be seen. I was worried about Princess because she was never far from the herd leader Lord Francis. Well thinking the worse I started to hunt for Princess thinking that she might be hurt. Well after hunting for her for about 30 min I found her and baby out in the field. Of course the first thing I did after getting my hart rate down knowing nothing was wrong was to run into the house to get my phone to take photos.
You can see daddies head on the left and uncle Kings rump on the right. King has no real blood relationship with my foal since he was born wild in Death Valley Ca and Princess and Lord Francis where born as domestic donkeys in Tx.
I will see about getting a full donkey herd photo taken later when the foal is a little older.

You are aware that Princess is the mother and not the baby, right?
The baby's name is Lady. She is fully grown and wanting to have her own babies now. If I can ever get her with a Zebra stallion she will have that baby that she so wants to have. I would love to have a Zonkey foal.
