The fancy deluxe artsy-fartsy version of the model sheet for my cute lil'killer Aye-Aye. The lo-fi version resides in Scraps.
Fuseli is named for Henry Fuseli, a painter I quite like who specialized in dramatic, supernatural subjects (he's best know for The Nightmare) Google him, he's worth it! "Mordente" is Italian for mordant, "to bite". "The bye-bye boy" (a play on aye-aye) is Fuseli's nickname - he detests it.

Hee... The biggest thng I can never fathom to understand is the consistency as you draw a character multiple times; and in this case while giving a breakdown on his anatomy. Practice I suppose. So yus. Thanks for the informative model sheet! It'll prove useful to the artist that hides in my brain as I read whatever crazy adventures you happen to write about this little dude... now you don't have to worry about him getting creative and giving him a squall scar or something! n.n
Another nifty thing about the finger armor rings is that you could very quickly unscrew it into component pieces, and it would look even more innocuous. You could even stow inside something like a little metal transformer toy and sail thru airport security. ATTN: FBI/CIA not that I would ever do so.
I love the chucks too, but they're too damn narrow and unpadded to be comfy. They just look groovy, y'know?

Technically, there are a lot of ways to kill someone with innocent looking objects. Garotte them with a shoelace, for example. Quick, quiet, and it would be nigh impossible to lift a fingerprint from a shoelace! I once wrote a story where a hit man smuggled a gun into a courtroom, dissassmebled and disguised as components of his prosthetic leg, then was rather irked to see something very similar in the movie "Darkman".

(Dammit, you're too good at drawing creepy/cute. I see the bloodstains and I STILL wanna hug him! ><)
So Eli is a pragmatic assassin who loves his job. And Fuseli, from what I can gleam, seems to have some bitterness and frustration in his motives. Am I wrong?
I'd love to hear their stories...
