After being intrigued by Zen Buddhism all my life, I finally decided to give it a try. Almost immediately I got the idea for this picture and told  blueeyedwolf it would be right up his alley. I asked him if he took commissions; he said no. I figured that was the end of it, but then he surprised me with the pic - and it was even cooler than I imagined!

The calligraphy circle is mu, the Japanese symbol for Zen, representing oneness with all things.
