I'm not sure how long i lay there, every second felt like eternity. But my fears were gone; replaced only by a desire to wait for the end, loving my dearest friend with every second i had left.
Arbok, my dear Pokemon, my lifelong companion, had done the unthinkable: she'd swallowed me alive, unharmed, and left me resting inside of her stomach. The horror and betrayal i'd felt, however, was gone, when she begged me to understand her desire...her hope that i'd give myself to her out of love. She was a predator, by nature, and I had to be hers. We were not master and "pet," no--we were equals, and friends.
So the thought of her doing this, leveling the "field" by fully engulfing me, made sense to me now...even though I thought I knew the price i'd pay for this love. Digestion...becoming apart of her at the cost of my life. But...somehow, I was alright, I had accepted it.
So imagine my surprise when the pink-red mass of her muscles started to move again. I shifted and slid around inside her stomach, her wet tissues so soft under my hands and against my now-sticky skin. Arbok was moving; i could feel her whole coiling body and her steady heartbeat as my chamber churned to and fro. From above I heard her say:
"Oh A, it feels so nice...to have a stroll with a full stomach."
She sounded so relaxed, so peaceful. It really made me happy...to be fulfilling this desire of hers. I replied slowly,
"Where are we going?"
She didn't give any response for a long time. What I did hear, though, thrilled me. Her heartbeat sped up, giving me a feeling of anticipation instead of fear. Her belly acted buoyant around me, carrying me inside her...a sticky and wet but serene place, and...so beautiful. This quiet time before me gave me a chance to notice just how amazing it was, inside her. I must have Stockholm Syndrome, I thought, enjoying my time in my.... No. It wasn't right to call her a captor, a kidnapper. She was so much more than a hungry predator. ...Enjoying my time with Arbok, my friend. That felt better.
Finally Arbok broke the silence. Quietly, she said,
"Someplace special."
I laughed, a muffled sound from deep inside her. "Haha, i'm already...in someplace special."
A few more minutes passed, i think, but i don't really know how long it was. Her motions, the squirming, coiling movement of her serpentine body, rocked me like a cradle. It was so peaceful, such a difference from the fight she'd gone through to do this to me. But wait...was she ever really fighting?
No...I'm the one who struggled with her. Then one unselfish thought followed another; I really hope i didn't hurt her, i'd hate to have done that." I was resigned, and yet, worried that out of all of the things that had happened today, that my dear friend may have gotten bumped and bruised.
That's what love is, I think. Being in life-altering situations, testing and heart wrenching, and in the end just hoping your friends are okay, even if they caused harm in the first place.
"Here we are!" I heard her exclaim. My weight shifted downward with her stomach, so i guessed she was going up a hill or stairs or something. Suddenly, her stomach walls drew closer to me, and more of her liquids and mucous trickled down onto me. I was already soaked, but the splashing sensation of warm water and saliva, and whatever else was inside her with me, electrified my skin in a new way. It was surprising, and I feared the worst; that her body was going to absorb me...
"Arbok?" I tried my best to sound calm, though I was still a little scared and, moreover, sad...that I'd miss her so much, and Kirlia.
"Yes, A?"
"I can feel a tingling around my body. I...I th-think it's starting."
Arbok stopped moving, and I felt something move above me. The small point that rubbed me, poked me through the bulge of her belly where I lay.
"Oh don't worry, you'll be fine A."
Now I was confused...she knew, she told me earlier she knew where this path would end for me. Maybe she didn't understand what I meant, what I was feeling.
"I...I don't think i'll make it until the next hour. But i'm glad, to spend my last moments with you."
Arbok cooed, the tip of her tail stroking me from above.
"Oh A, do you even know why Kirlia wouldn't help you?"
It was strange, that my empathic Pokemon didn't try to help me when i was scared earlier. I had been wondering that. Unless...unless there wasn't any danger?
So as Arbok's tummy turned me over and over, and grew even closer in its slimy embrace, the smallest of smiles grew on my face. Her tissues were so close to my body...overlapping, laying over me, close as any blanket or hug could ever be.
"You were really never in any danger..." Arbok said down to me.
All around I felt those tightened muscles, spasms of her insides that rocked me upwards. I heard her say, somewhat strained:
"I'd...never...try...to...hurt you, A..."
"Arbok!" I cried out, "What's happening! You're squeezing me!"
She was; it was so odd, an exact opposite of the powerful pulls that had carried me deep into her forever ago. I started to move upward, was I rising inside her? More saliva and mucous slathered onto me, all over, yet the sticky goo inside her helped streamline me...move me up. I closed my eyes to shield them from her insides and didn't open until I saw, reflected on my eyelids, light.
I gasped a breath of cool, evening air as my head stuck out of Arbok's maw.
"Arbok!? Wha...I mean...you're...letting me live?" I was dumbfounded, and overjoyed, and--and worried! Had my ascent hurt her? I mean, throwing up is always uncomfortable, what did I just do? But then...relief...her eyes, calm and clear, with a rosy redness that relaxed my heart and body.
"Of course, A..." She smiled, her lip curving over my waist as she started to lower me out of her mouth. Skillfully she wrapped her tail around my torso, helping guide me out of her body and onto the grass below.
"Now, straighten up, my teeth are quite sharp," she warned.
"Oh, okay...thanks, Arbok."
A few seconds more, and I was released. Outside of her, whole, alive, free.
And yet...I missed it.
That sensation may have been the most important one in my whole life. I miss it, I miss being inside of her stomach... My head was still spinning but my heart knew it was true. I looked up into my dear friend's eyes, those red-rimmed spheres that had such intensity before were filled with love and compassion.
"I can't believe i'm saying this...but I kind of like...being eaten."
That was enough. Arbok's face blushed bright red, and she coiled her tail around me so gently, a warm hug...she nuzzled my face, and I realized just how beautiful she had become when she evolved...not just bigger, stronger, but majestic in size and shape. And she would come this close to me, still...I threw one arm around her neck and touched her cheek with my other.
"Thanks Arbok...for letting me live."
Arbok laughed, her giggle making me smile wide, too. "You're welcome, A! But, even without spitting you out, you'll still be okay! I have some...special ways."
So it WAS true, I really was safe inside her all along! "Oh, Arbok..." Still sticky with the coating from inside her, I closed my eyes and hugged her as snugly as I could. I was met with a delighted sigh from my girl, my dear companion, and a loud SHLUURRRK! noise as my sticky, dripping clothes splashed onto her!
"Eh..." I said, dripping with her juices,"looks like I need a shower..." I blushed, though it ran across my mind that I had just been showered, in a very special way!
Arbok smiled then said sarcastically, "My breath isn't thaaaat bad, is it?"
I laughed with her, "Of course not!" and laid down next to her.
Laying their against her warm coils, I noticed where we were: a little hill overlooking the sea, just beyond the Manor where we live. I'd never been here at twilight, and saw something breathtaking: the sunset sinking into the ocean, a shimmering light across the water, and shadowplay lighting up my love Arbok's face...
"Wow...it's really beautiful here."
"Yes," she sighed, "it is."
"I guess..." I started, "it's not so bad to be eaten, well, if it's you of course."
Arbok looked out into the sunset, so peaceful and emotional was her face. "You have earned my love...and I-I hope I have earned yours."
I laughed one last time, looking into the end of that first incredible day. "You've earned more than that."
My love, my predator, my Arbok, had earned me

I find vore to be a succint turnoff, but this..? This was well-written. For all the fetishism that surrounds the concept, this was by far the most palatable, and very nearly touching.
However, I must emphasize the importance of keeping a large knife on one's person when faced with a situation where vore is imminent.
