Ok, so first page in my comic 'The Fire Within: Discovery'
I am using these to better my digital painting skills as well as share a story that has been swimming in my head for years. I have never done a comic before so I hope you will enjoy it. I am working on page 2 at the moment and should have it up soon. I have a long way to go in digital painting and lighting.

good start indeed. :)
I think more pronounced panel borders would help with reading. it's good here still, because the art isn't too dark, but I guess there will be scenes at night or in "uneasy" surroundings.
aside that, wonderful artwork, nice dynamics, and wondrous lighting. :)
side note: there is a great comic book on... comics: "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud. it might be helpful, and even if it wasn't, it's an interesting read. ^^
