So right now I've started college again, and I'm taking a graduate course for 3D stuff. It's been soooo much work so far. Our first assignment for modelling is to make a character that is inspired by and would fit into the universe of DOTA, Defense of the Ancients. I decided to take a character I've made before (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4285340/) and remake him to fit on the game. After a tough crit session and a bunch of revisions, here is the design I've settled on!

I've changed a few things since then, like adding brighter gold colors and shades of brown to break up the monochromatic look he has. I've also removed the necklace and added a backpack and a strap that goes across his chest. The model is nearing completion. I should be posting it sometime next week!

I won't get too detailed with the back story, but for this design he grew up in a society of sewer rats living under the cities of the world, but was shunned from them after going to the surface to study further in magic. The sewer rats find it noble to rely on the surface as least as possible. When he tried to return, he lost his eyesight in an attempted honor-killing, and now has to use his magic to see - which gives his eyes a haunting blue glow.
