An Average day
a surge of blood, a blur in the dark
waking up, with a death of a mark
the images flee, but before I grasp
I watch, they'd break, hope it helps.
blink. They're gone, slow as they come
it pains to become. Fuck! Where are my lies?
Now! Anything! My life for something to block the sun
I distort them anew, and ventillate until my protest dies
I wind myself up, and watch it spin.
Move. get it up, upty up. Clothes. rip my heart I'll pick my lock
Bike. me can't rest while standing still. Music. up and down we go the hill
I wind myself up, they will watch it spin
like a bad child, with a worse a grin
yeah, don't worry. It's just... I'm ill. bared teeth, lies in peril
I laughed with them. was almost fun. teased on me. can I now run?
scribbled down: I just pretend. but which one?
this is bad and forced, I guess then the first
but they saw it, and now look at me with thirst
they want me broken. okay. just, please, the gun
they wind me up, and watch it spin.
Not broken? well then not today. Byes. I tell with the abscence of an act
Bike. in the wind they all go quiet. Stop. though I still can't the riot
but again, I believe this is what I don't pretend
it's just that time flows back, and I tend to forget
maybe I missed the right diet, or chose a bad pilot
something's wrong. tt's not perfect. have I moved forward or was it back?
anyway, ends the day, I'll go back to my cage for delay
outside the town burns, the bars scream
('least the metal has no flame, just a slight gleam)
on a rooftop a burning man tends to say:
Help feeding my blaze, or I'll make you pay!
but I keep my head straight, away from his beam
(I prefer the corridors, the brass looks clean)
I know: I love the pain. I'd go for a walk, were there long enough a chain.
LIER! CRIER! OF WOLVES LED BY DESIRE!
tired, wired, crowd-shouts from the fire
deluded by the sprinkling of water, I arrive at a fountain: empty, gray
again, left out, I'll live to thirst another day
So that maybe once
I'll wind them up, and watch those spin.
a surge of blood, a blur in the dark
