A custom character commission of 
wing-of-chaos's charcter Nex!
This stylish mightyena was my biggest wefting jobs yet with that super mane of his. I just love how fluffy and so full of attitude it is. It took roughly 7 hours to weft the entire mane.
His nose is hand cast by me. I had purchased a pink nose from DVC only to discovered it was a little bigger than desired so I sculpted one up and cast it a few nights ago.

It's an optical illusion. :) It's flat canvas set back a little inside a...tube of sorts, of the same color. So that when you turn it, the pupil and iris appear to move, because you see more of the outside color on the sides. :)
You can make a simple one if you want to see it in action, with flat paper with eye painted on, set slightly inside a circlular slice of cardboard tube thats the same color of the "white" of the eye:)

Just want to ask though, what does wefted mean?
My fursona has a Mohawk mane (with fringe/bangs, which looks much like this character), and I'm planning to make a fursuit of my own. Do you know where I could get tutorials to do this for my fursuit when I make one?
