Someone on the HFY forums was looking for mecha stories, and I ended up pointing him at Frontlines among a few others. Theeeeennn I fell into the trap of reading through bits of the story and suddenly wanting to re-read everything. EVERYTHING. So I think I'm going to try and make it a habbit to read through at least one of your stories every day and try to post a comment on anything I haven't commented to yet.

This one, I am absolutely amazed at how bizarre a concept this is, and yet how readily you feel for our main character. A world we can't understand and is barely explained, getting out only the parts we need to know and refusing to get mired down in the inconsequential details that would have lead to a text-wall. It's a concept I never see anywhere else, and in the hands of a skilled writer making a fantasy story could all too easily lead to a grand space/magic adventure.

I know it's an old one, but I'm glad it's still around.
