As Daring Do trotted through the hallway, the wet diaper sapped her energy and slowed her every step. With trembling hooves, she brought herself to the linoleum-tiled-threshold of her doom. At last, with no more diapers at her disposal and her mother firmly blockading her only escape from this corridor, she stood face to face with the nemesis whose name she dared not speak. A desperate gulp issued from the once plucky pegasus. Sweat sprouted from her brow in racing droplets. Sure, she had swam through crocodile-infested swamps; yes, she had traversed the bowels of countless volcanoes; and yes, she had even wrested the Sapphire Stone from the claws of that nostril-eyed cretin Ahuizotl himself.... but this was an adventure too daring even for Daring Do.
The porcelain exuded a devilish glimmer as Daring approached uneasily, shudders flooding her spine and pee flooding her sodden diaper. She turned to flash a helpless look of pleading toward her mother standing inches behind her in the doorway. The solemn shaking of Mommy's head crushed what fragile hopes of padding the yellow pegasus still clung to. Daring looked down at the floor sheepishly, her diaper obstructing her view. Sighs of impatience blew against her. She stared grimly ahead. This was it; there was no backing out now. The Potty Monster beckoned...
