A special piece I had done showing Alastair as a New Jersey State Trooper. A bit of an homage to my past since for a good part of my life I lived in New Jersey. And the building shown in the background is the building where I held my longest part-time job while attending college. Life may take you on many paths but you can never really leave your past behind.

Yeah, interesting fact about the NJSP, they actually wear a "Class A" style uniform for regular patrol duties including the tunic as seen in the pic. That's their winter uniform. For summer they wear a long sleeve uniform shirt (they don't have short sleeve uniform shirts except for polos).
They were designed by Norman Schwarzkopf Sr., the first superintendent of the NJSP and father of General Norman Schwarzkopf of the Desert Storm Coalition Forces. And they were based on German post-WWII uniforms due to their practicality and intimidation factor. NJSP is a HEAVILY militarized state police force.

More fun facts, NJ state police only wear their patch on the right sleeve because back in the day of motorcycle patrols, they would pull people by driving to their right side, their by showing their patch. They also changed the color of their uniforms from jersey blue to french blue after many local police forces copied their look. I applaud you for your knowledge of the nj troopers uniform. :3
