Here are some comic previews of Gaydar's appearance in Boxer Beats.
For those of us without a tumblr, here's an update:
-Every character will be playable and have their own story.
-Updating the game's layout and other things, this is what the new comics will look like and I'm working on them gradually.
-Working on a platformer on the side for a future game - my test platformer might lead to a game with Gaydar and his other close pals.
Uhh. Guess that's it for now.

I'm just not really interested in making one. X3 It took forever to decide on what kind of game to make, and there are only a handful of fighting games I really like. If it helps any, I do hope to make some other actiony/fighty games in the future, even if they're small.
At least the way it's structured, each character has their own sorta conversation/comic before each match, and another one after. And then there's the screen with them for when you lose a match too.
For a while I was tried to make it so the further you got in each level, your opponent would yell something at each point in text, but after a while it stopped working. Someone suggested that though, so I might try to work on bringing it back. (:

Oh, well. I can't tell you how many initial ideas I had that went to wayside when I finally got to the part I thought they'd take place in. *Snugs* The important thing is to just let your natural creativity guide you and the story will flow as it is meant to.
This kind of reminds me about getting a job. Most folks think you need to be a perfect match. However, as I learned at my last job, you really only need to be a 60% match with a willingness to learn the other 40% to make a job work.
The above in mind, I think creativity is the same where you have a majority of the story and everything planned out. However, the other 40% is surprises you figure out as you go and let the story develop naturally based on what the story dictates rather than what you might've thought would fit at a particular time.
It's funny, but I originally meant Creative Campaign 2 to be only about 20 chapters. 3 years later, it was 74 with far more content than I ever first thought it would have. *Shrugs* Though, I'm happy with it and that's what counts. :)
