Heya Mary, What did you use to color this?


Whimpers, Im having a really hard time coloring the doodle I did :(

Just photoshop.

Did you ink the pencil sketch? Or you are coloring the sketch? If you are coloring it without inking it, I suggest making the linework grayscale first. The red will be hard to color.

Scan the pencil sketch in as grayscale. Then in photoshop, put the pencil sketch on the top layer and set that layer to multiply. Put your color underneath that layer.

If the sketch is too light, try copying the layer and have 2 copies of the pencil sketch set to multiply on top of each other.
