Immensely passionate about his job, the Totodile hunter is truly a rare breed of man.
He is loved by animals... erm, I mean pokemon everywhere because of his dedication to them, tirelessly aiding pokemon in need and fervent in educating the public about these incredible creatures.
Runs a massive pokemon zoo with his wife, a fellow totodile hunter.
edit: After looking at this again, I feel that a few changes had to be made.

Hey, he knew what he was doing with that croc thing- he's worked with crocs his entire life. The work he did for conservation was due to both he and terry, as he was inspired as a child by his parents and in turn inspired thousands of children, myself included, to work for conservation!
You're just jelous because he made an impact on the world in a positive light and you'll never amount to anything other then a name on a messageboard.
Never broke the laws. What you don't know about the croc Gram was that there were 8 people sourrounding him. That, and they also had his mouth shut.
He was born into the conservation of animals you moron. That's one of the reasons he and Terrie met.
But you wouldn't know any of this because you are so self centered and trying to impress the friends you haven't got that you got to try and put someone down to make you look good.
Yeah. I'll always remember what he did.
I'll forget what YOU did in a night or two so NYAA!

Oh please, I am not JEALOUS of anyone god damn one, save for the artists here. Cause they can draw, and I can't.
Last fucking person in this world I would be jealous of would be that fucking moron, and the act of holding your child over a fucking gator is only a move a total idiot would do, save or not. You dont do it.
Now, for the sake of others here, I am dropping this.

1: Zato said everything, so I don't need too.
2: The only thing I'm jealous of is the money that fuck accumulated by being a retard.
3: Wow, questing if I have friends or not and saying this is just to impress them...why the fuck would I bother? They should be my friends cause of who I am, not what I do. There not friends then.
4: I don't care about you one iota, so telling me about your pathetic life is a mute point.
5: I just love how immature you are, calling me names and going "NYAA!" as the end of your "comment" way to bring the collective IQ of the fandom down.

1: Then that's between me and him.
2: Using the word retard and basing your entire argument on it? He was wild, seemed crazy, but he also said and showed that he was willing to put his life on the line for the conservation of wildlife. That doesn't make one a retard.
3: I don't see why else you'd hate him. I just think that people get a generalization in their head and tend to exclude everything else.
4: Feeling's mutual.
5: By not saying fuck every other word? And by that logic, I'd have made you less intellegent, and if you were less intellegent...
Anyway, I just don't get Irwin haters.

And I don't get DUR'win "lovers"
1: So? He made my argument for me.
2: You have to be to TAKE YOUR 1 YEAR OLD INTO A CROCODILE PIT! He was a retard, what else do you call JUMPING ONTO WILD ANIMALS IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WARE!!?
3: I hate he cause of the image he gave American's of the average Australian. It's just like with Paul Hogan when the Crocodile Hunter was how American's though all Australian's acted.
4: I don't care.
5: I only drooped the "F-bomb" 3 times.
BONUS ROUND!
6: I though you didn't want to clog up this page with bickering? By replying to my comment you KNEW it was going to continue, so your a hypocrite.

uhh I don't mean to but in on this but Brown, but you really shouldn't of made such a negative comment on this. if you don't like something or whatever you should of just ignored it. I respect your opinion on not liking him, but yelling it out on someones picture where people who like him can see it isn't a good idea 8[ cuz now you got this big argument started..I'm sure the artists doesn't appreciate it on the pics comments either
I am glad there are still people who defend Steve Irwin even after his unfortunate death. It makes me feel inspired enough to draw again. ^.^
Steve Irwin was a great man. Without him, Animal Conservation probably wouldn't be as powerful as it is now. And the best thing is, that his Wife and Children will live on to continue his work. His Daughter has her own show already. :3
He would have been perfect for the world of Pokémon. And no doubt that he would have been the perfect trainer.
I give this picture an automatic thumbs up, and permanent favorite. ^.^

He was a hero to me as well.
I was heartbroken when I heard of his death.
Before I knew who he was, I heard about some guy called the Crocodile Hunter, and as stupid as I was at the time though he was someone who went around shooting them with guns.
After I saw his show for the first time, I instantly fell in love. I mostly thought he was crazy at first though the way he let those Crocodiles go after him. xD
After a little while, I realized that this was his way of doing things, and it was entertaining to the people actually there, and to those of us watching from home. ^.^
I watched his Funeral on Television, and I actually cried for the first time in years.
He has been greatly missed. But at least his show is still on Animal Planet at 6PM Eastern time.
I still like to watch the show. ^.^

Ok people seriously....I know this is all over and done but look back at all of this....you wasted time posting an arguement on SOMEONE ELSE'S ART! These comments are for complimenting art not trash talking about the person.
Personally Steve was a great man and I grew up watching him and he inspired me alot. If you really didn't like it you didn't have to say anything.

WHY DID YOU COMMENT YOU FUCKING MORON! THIS WAS DEAD AND FORGOTTEN! ARE YOU THAT DESPERATE FOR ATTENTION! SHUT THE FUCK UP AND MOVE ON LIKE WE HAVE! WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY YOUR JUST ADDING TO A SHIT STORM! ARE YOU THAT RETARDED! DON'T REPLY TO THIS POST CAUSE YOU WILL STAR ANOTHER SHIT STORM!
OMFG. This guy has SERIOUS Problems, honestly.
I mean - living in a world surrounded by retarded people must be hard, don'tcha think...? ^.^°
Heck, he's really stubborn.
The Crocodile Hunter was a really great Person, I second that. Silly and a bit of crazy, yeah, but who's not? *laughs* ^.^
I liked him because of that. People like us and even people like him call these kind of people 'thrillseekers'. You know, jumping off bridges 'n cliffs or doin' other dangerous things... it's their life. They love it, and he loved to show the world the Australian wilderness.
I was used to watch it, it was really interesting, entertaining and cool - I really liked it. Teaching about animals? With dusty, boring books you may think. In a small, stuffy room with a biology teacher who's too old to know what electricity is.
Well, he proved us it doesn't necessarily have to be THIS way.
And there are more People who LOVE him therefore than people who hate him therefore.
And this artwork is really great, it does all justice to him and his work.
In lovingly Memories of good ol' Steve Irwin - rest in Peace, dude.

It's so awesome.
He was my true hero in life and it was horribly saddening to hear of his loss of life.
Very grand picture.
Auto favorite :).
BTW: a program was on today, Following in Steve's footsteps: The mud, the blood, and the tears, about the rest of the croc crew picking up where he left off, continuing the tracking and tagging of crocs for the preservaton of future generations.
It was really heartfelt.
The true heartbreaker was at the end of the show when they tagged the last croc, the first one Terrie ever grabbed by the head to restrain, and she gave him the nickname of Steve.
I just about bawled my eyes out right there.

Very nice pic, very cute X3
And for the love of gawd can't we all just get the fook along? Tis a shame you had to have people clutter up your upload with they're annoying and un-nessairy quarreling. I hate to see that on submission, if its something you feel that strongly about, take it to personal notes peoples.

I was wondering when someone would do a Pokémon-themed Steve Irwin pic. Glad that you did one. :D

i never wished for the death of steve...how ever, from the first time i saw him, i wanted to the very core of my being, to see some alligator reach up out of the bog and bite off his nutsack...he wasnt an animal lover...he ran around mollesting every large predator he could find "crikey! im gonna stick my thumb up this crocodile's buthole! oh hes realy cranky now!"
I feel for yah about the drama up above, some people *coughBrowncough* are just idiots who don't know when to shut their yaps or at least have the decency to apologize *gasp* for poking a hornet's nest on someone else's art.
As for the pic, a very cute rendition of Steve. This along with Kung Fu Guy are probably my faves of this little series, though this one tops the list. Nice touch on the little backstory b the way ^_^

Whenever I finally get good enough to draw, I'm going to try and draw a Tribute of my own.
This picture is truly inspiring, and makes me want to redouble my efforts.
Fortunately Super Mario Galaxy is giving me a good dose of Inspiration. ^.~
Steve Irwin will always be missed, especially after the leap he made for Animal Conservation.

Well, it's about time I got through all that nonsense...
Steve Irwin was a great man, sure he did some rather silly things, but that was almost forgotten (Until a certain someone brought up his mistakes).
My uncle used to make he most awesome impressions of him, but since the accident he no longer does it. I found Steve's show rather educational, a bit boring and often a repeat lesson on crocs, but it taught me a lot and gave me a better understanding on nature's children. I hope Bindy succeeds him and does even better!
Now, if someone wants to slander this godly legend, go ahead, you only look more and more of an ass doing it. Just accept that he made a positive contribution to the world.

Steve: Now what I'm gonna do here, is while I distract her by pettin' her pup, I'm gonna reach around and jam my thumb up this momma kangaskhan's butthole! XD
Sorry, couldn't resist! Awesome pic though. I know that I personally have a lotta warm and fond memories of watching the Croc Hunter when I was growing up, and this made me smile. Great job!

Awesome picture some of my favored Pokemon with a trainer I'd love a lot more then that effeminate sissy Ash. I think this is a cool and original way to remember him and what he did. :)
I always thought this man was a lunatic, taking a hands on aprouch with some of natures most deadly and unpredictable animals doesn't strike me as a picture of mental health. But he wasn't just about putting on a show for the kids, what he did helped the conservation effort much more then Animal planet's ratings.
If he was only interested in playing Indiana Jones with wild animals he would have just been another sideshow that met a tragic end and quickly forgotten but he made an effort to help a world most of us had basically forgotten about in our race to buy gas-drinking Humers. He inspired people to give a damn about the animals we share our frail planet with. How many of us can brag that?
I know not all Australian's are Croc hunters just like I know not all Americans are cowboys or all English drink tea all the time. Stereotypes will always be around but if you believe something about a culture just because of one person on TV you need to have your head looked at.

I only saw one bit of Steve recorded work all my life, a episode where he and his team had to transfer a couple of Crocs from an old, to-be-abandon zoo, to a new one.
I'm not for or against him; but I do admire anyone, regardless of personality quirks, who knew as much about, cared as much about, and worked as hard for animals as people like him and his family.
I'll admit, he did act rather goofy at times, but that's nothing new. Everybody has their own unique way of being, and everybody reacts to each other their own way and we should just leave it as such.
I'm not digging up old crap after all the hell that has just past, I'm getting my own weight off my chest.
I also happen to like Paul Hogan's character. Dundee wasn't your typical Australian. He was man raised as a native and their representing not Australians, but mix of that and Aborigani . . . as many of the nicknames go, a Downunder Tarzan meeting the "Civilized" jungle.
So saying he represented Australians is a bit abscure.
Now enough of that crap.
This is fine piece of work my friend, as all yours works are. The Totodile on Steve's head is a real cute touch as is the baby Kangaskhaun. And the Arboc rubbing up under his arm is also a nice cozy touch. The Mama Kangaskhuan looks like she wants to give Mr. Irwin a powerful hug! Which I think would rather nice to see!
Also, the way you did Steve's face . . . I perfect toon match! Reminds me of how the artists matched Jackie Chans for his cartoon series!
And yeah, Steve would make a great trainer . . . and even a great breeder with all his animal knowledge . . . but with his style and devotion, he make and even better Pokemon Ranger!
Keep up the great work mate!
