At christmastime, advertisements often run rampant with slogans that usually say something like "Why not get your loved ones their favorite star this holiday season? Get this years hottest new DVD (or CD) release!" With that in mind, I have taken that slogan literally for this drawing. It took about 4 days (working on and off throughout) to plan and complete.

Shown is Amber (finnish spitz), Tig (feline-dragon), Harp (red panda) and lil Hokum (fox terrier plushie) sleeping in the parlor room of their Victorian-style home. Mr. Clause knows how to get around the fire problem by using some sort of magic to levitate the gifts into the stockings, instead of burning his bum. In Amber's stocking she will find DVDs, a home-made finnish spitz plushie, and games to go along with her new nintendo. Harp recieved a horn cane like Harpo Marx and a lot of sheet music for the piano and his harp (pictured). Tig recieved Buster Keaton, John Lennon, and Harpo Marx. Santa was generous this year. Unfortunately, it's midnight and the three lads have to wait til dawn in those stockings.
