Well, here is the preliminary sculpt for the paw gloves I am working on. This i not baked yet and I have some more smoothing out and editing to do before I dooo bake it. :°3
Now, I will accept constructive criticism for a bit since I have to do Chemistry homework before I can continue so that gives people time to comment. Just a warning; I am not very good at accepting critique even when it´s good advice. x°D So -shrug-

I understand what you´re getting at there, but any less and they start to look lanky.... What I thought I´d do was bulk out the fingers, but then they´ll get too large. Still trying to figure that out!! I probably will just shave them down a bit though. x´D Thanks though.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Hmm... I sort of agree with Darkewulf on shaving some of the pad height away... sort of. On one hand (no pun intended), keeping them so thick would accentuate the fact that the hands are now primarily a source of locomotion rather than a grasping tool, if you are going for the more "cursed werewolf" feel. If you want the more "blessed werewolf" feel, you'll want something that can still grasp at least moderately well, and those pads look like they would get in the way when you try to flex the fingers at all. I would think that having about, oh, half the thickness remaining, or 2/3 if you want to keep them quite thick while adding flexibility.
Me? I absolutely love the shape of these things as they are, and would be tempted to get a set myself: Not so much for a werewolf outfit as for a were-flammie; flammies are draconic in nature, so thick, muscular pawhands would work well.. and I might see about lacing them with white fur, which would give them that feathered fetlock look... which would conceal the tone and definition of the pawhands, and make them look entirely paw-like... at least until you splay the fingers, or unless someone gets a close look at the paws.
...methinks I will favorite this image though... I am doing a human to flammie anatomy study, and like I mentioned above, these would work well on a flammie hybrid. thanks for sharing:D

Thank you for the detailed input!! That is a good point. For me, I want it to look as much like a real paw as possible (I used photos of a dogs hands), but I like public input too because I am trying to get a balance of what I want and what other people will like. To make that balance perhaps the 2/3rds is a good idea.
Thank you!! My thoughts were that if it were covered in fur it could look like a real paw with a thumb and you are right I think if fur would be put over it would look real, which is totally exciting. I probably wont fur my personal pair, but I -am- thinking of selling duplicates (I cant guess the price until I have made my own pair so I´ll keep everyone updated) and perhaps I will experiment with furring them if I can get some money for it. -wags tail-
Thank you for the comments, compliments and input. The cool thing about your little study is this is based to go over a human hand, so the conversion should be pretty easy!! Good luck with that. :°3
You are welcome haha

reference a wolfs paw or something so you can see how far out the pads can actually go. At least tone it down 1/2 of what they are now. I know they would liook a little lanky but consider the fur always makes a mamals paws look big and poofy. add watter to that paw and its lanky lookin.
