More watercolor. This was some surprise giftart that I forgot to post here (i.e. not my characters). I had to fight with this to get it to scan right and unfortunately this is the closest I could get.

the water blotching in the BG really adds to the field of depth, feels like real outerspace (through a telescope)rather than a 2D backdrop with white specs. thats the thing that stands out, 1st thing i noticed.
the characters themselvs have good anatomy with the shoulder-to-collar lines and the Neck lines.
Very bold and muscular.
normally when you say my scanner ate the colors, i'm like Psh - looks fine to me,
but looking at this, i do want to see the real thing if it is indeed more vibrant.
