I made this icon for myself. Don’t use it.
(It has my character’s name on it, btw)

I couldn’t think of a quote that would make this any cuter. X3
I was trying to figure out what to do for this theme and a friend got the mental image of Hellkitty pawing at the damned in the Lake of Fire in the manner a cat would paw at coy fish in a pond. The idea was deliciously morbid, so I decided to turn it into an animation. I enjoy animating icons, so I figured that would be a good starting point. At first I wasn’t crazy about the idea of having to pan up and down the image to make the square canvas work, but after playing with it a bit I think it actually adds to the combination of horrible, eternal, fiery torture and an adorable kitty.
The original animation was a tiny bit longer, but I wanted to get the file under the 50kb limit FA has. I don’t think it took away from the image, really, otherwise I would have posted the first in my scraps to supplement this submission.

My patience is unpredictable. ^^; Sometimes I can sit for hours drawing one little bit of fur at a time, and on other days I can't sit down with a sketch for more than five minutes. Pixel art is usually okay, though, because it's relatively quick once you've got the hang of it.
Yeah, I've tried this 100 Themes thing previously a few times with little luck, but humor is one of the main driving forces behind this character and I find that it helps quite a bit with inspiration. "I need to think of an idea for [insert generic noun] theme... hm... heehee, that's a silly mental image. Now I want to draw it. X3" Plus I figure if it makes me smile (even if it's a sadistic, manic grin) then it'll probably make other people smile too. Gotta spread the mania love! :D
