A close up of my Digitigrade feet made for my Draenei costume.
I am soo proud of these things! I wore them for 4 hours straight before they started to feel harsh on my feet, and that's after 14 flights of stairs in the venue! D:
Loads of a little touches really helped, like adding parts of a rubber sole from another shoe to the underneath and putting a gel pad usually for high heels inside under the ball of feet.
And these are why I look so stupidly tall in all my photos, because these are in my Worgen as well. ^_^
I may put a tutorial collage of all the WiP shots from their making, as I keep good records.

You're standing on the balls of your feet, rather than on your tip-toes so it's a lot easier than it would seem.
Also, the shoes these are based on are some very snug ankle boots that had a fair but of foot support, I would say that's almost a necessity. They had 3 inch heels on them, with a solid floor to the shoe, then just had the heels cut off so they're not without heel support, just not significant.
I'll put up a series of WiP shots as a tutorial some time so you can see what went into making them.

Well, more meant to say you walk around like you're stalking stuff, you kinda have to move with a very definate purpose, nice long strides.
Not that you move like a tier 1.5 Protoss Gateway unit, though being able to Blink would have rocked for those stairs.
Not sure how well these would translate to other people, I've always have very strong ankles (weak wrists though ¬.¬) so find them fairly easy on my feet.
