Finally felt comfortable enough with lil Espresso's progress so I turned her and momma Mocha into the big pasture with the other mare and foal. My brave lil Espresso took off full tilt with momma right behind her trying to keep up.

I'm thinking of keeping Princess and Lady in the front yard for a couple of months. I don't want there to be an accedent with Lady and the barbed wire fenceing and once out I don't think I would get them back into the front yard since Princess won't walk on lead rope. Princess will only follow me if I'm carrring Lady.
Lol yeah I can suggest a tip I learned from Steve Edwards at Equine Affair. Get a kids lariat from the tack store, and well its hard to explain... I know what I can do. I'ma gona clean up this mess I've made in the living room and I'll shoot a quick video of how to make the "come-along" and then link you to it. I found out after weeks of trying to get Mocha to follow with a halter that she wasn't Halter broke but she was neck rope broke. If i take a lead rope and put it round her neck she'll dang near run me over! Give me a bit and I'll make and post that video. I also have some training DVD;s from Steve Edwards if You want me to try and copy and burn them for you.
