This is my Ushiwakamaru, a river otter spirit. He's a bit mischevious, always going out of his way to steal unsuspecting fishermen's catches, but he's nice enough to replace their empty buckets with a jug of sake. Alcohol > Fish.

The peculiar thing about him is that, in his human form, he has otter ears, his normal lower legs end in otter paws, and so does his forearms. He also has his tail. He CAN transform into his natural otter form and does so, mainly when stealing, because it's easier for him to get away with it ( and quicker ).

He's in his skivvies in this drawing, but he normally wears a tattered matsuri jacket with bandages around his midsection and carries his fishing pole and sake jug. Oh, and he's never without his trusty straw hat, which has seen hell and back. XD

He was a fun character to draw, I can tell you that. XD
