This is the hook that i made last week. I used 3/4"x1" stock. I split the bar down the middle about 5-6 inchs and drew out the split ends with the hammer and curled them to the horns. I then machined 2 holes since i lack the punchs need to forge the holes. My last step was to fishtail the end and bend it to a hook. Lastly i used a a wire wheel on a grinder to clean it up and WD-40 with paper towels to clean it up.
