Back in July I was lucky enough to score a series of commissions with  jeddibub and this is part of that series.

Rrenger here is a character that I had the pleasure of making use of in a friend's roleplaying campaign, and since then he's earned himself a permanent place in the Character Condominiums that take up some of the prime real estate in my brain. The culture that he comes from is very militant, somewhat like Anicent Rome, and he's serving his time in the army. He's what I call a Military Scholar. Essentially he's the go-to man (erm...cat) for cultural, historical, and esoteric information in his unit, combining the functions of scout, a fighter, a cultural liaison, an archaeologist, and a mage. He's one of those disgustingly lucky individuals that benefits from both a very sharp mind and a reasonable level of physical ability, and his position puts it all to good use. He's still got a fair amount of training and experience ahead of him before he reaches his full potential, but he's well on his way to filling an important role in his nation's army.
