You've seen how kind and caring Xenlos can be at times, even a little voracious. He is a dragon however and there are times when people step a little to far into his comfort zones. As to why he's raging? Perhaps someone hurt Nero or someone else in his large family... maybe someone's attacking one of the villages in his territory. Whatever the case he's ready to rip someone from limb to limb. As for the glowing eyes, just means he's one more step before turning into his fire form and truly unleashing it all. Granted though the only one who should be worried is the one in his cross hairs. If you are some innocent bystander or one of his friends, he won't hurt you... maybe growl a little bit at you, but that's about it. Even when totally pissed off, he still keeps some self control to himself...
