Thanks! :3 I'm just guessing, but I'm thinking they have those lashes because they spend so much time running around on the ground in dusty places like deserts.

He gave up after finding himself in debt to Acme.

Runs a little bed and breakfast in Carmel now, one of those renovated farmhouses out by Point Lobos. Does his own cooking, with a specialty in roast quail and poached eggs that Sunset Magazine wrote up as "one of the best-kept secrets on the West Coast." He's much happier now, really enjoying the peace and quiet, except for sometimes when he gets wistful and digs out a few sticks of dynamite to blow himself up with, just for old time's sake.

It's incredible how much detail comes up when you get a chance to see them up close.
