So I invented this drink a while back, and figured is has this light, cream color to it, what's creamy, delicious and sweet to put in your mouth? A fox, of course, so the Buttery Fox was invented.
Ingredients:
Buttershots liquor
Vanilla ice cream
milk
Butterscotch ice cream syrup
(not pictured) 2 butterscotch hard candies
You'll need a good blender for this.
Drop the 2 candies into the blender, and pulse until they are powdered.
Add to large scoops of ice cream (about 2 cups)
Just a splash of milk to give a bit of liquid.
About a 5-8 second squeeze of the butterscotch topping.
Fill the blender (do not blend yet) to about the 1 cup to 1 1/2 cup mark with the Butttershots
Blend until smooth.
This should yield one classic red "party cup" worth, just about to the brim. Drink and enjoy responsibly. Also, the hard candies are actually pretty important. I tested it without the candies and the butterscotch flavor was not nearly as full or filling.
NOTE: Buttershots is 15% so not much more alcohol than typical wine. This isn't meant as a main drink but more as a delicious starter or fun alcoholic shake :)
EDIT: I normally use 'slow churn' ice cream. 50% the fat, lower calories. I tried out froyo this time, doesn't pack the same full flavor as ice cream, IMO.
