Supposedly, kitsune never gave their real name when interacting with people, they'd always make up something for people to call them, because their real name could let people have some sort of power over them, just like if someone captured their little star ball thing.

I'd pick something japanese and out of the ordinary for their real name, and then something that could possibly be made up on the spot for what they go by, like Leaf or, yes, Shade.

...Consequently, Siroc somehow finding out her real name or holding her starball hostage would make for some pretty great interactions.
