Page eleven!

This is the page that almost never was. I generally sketch out about five pages at a time, then slowly ink and color them as I get the time. When I first transitioned to my new sketchbook this page didn't exist! However, as I looked at the sketches for the upcoming pages I saw that there was a little tiny bit of a hole in the plot mainly focused on Rod's telescope. I debated for a while whether I needed another stop in the action to draw attention to that little device, but it's such an inconspicuous thing that it could easily get lost in all the action that already has (and will) happen. Believe it or not, that thing is important!

So, at the last minute, I decided that adding one more page to draw attention to the telescope, and to further define Rod's relationship with her mount wouldn't be too much of a loss.

That and it gave me a chance to draw and render more rocks. For some reason I LOVE drawing rocks!
