brushfire was ofering horse characters special 'coat and mane cuts'. Yes, you can actually 'cut' a horse's peltfur. It grows shaggier in the winter and to make sure they get healthy growth, you go over their coat with a short-trimmed-guide or lower. Sometimes in trouble spots, you go down to the skin. There's differnet types of cuts. LIke leaving the fur long udner the saddle part of the back, so it helps a touch more with padding, or you cut more away from their eyes so they can see bette during fox hunts. So I asked for a 'cut' of my own that left me with a mane-hawk, and a trail-of-mane to my tail! *Imagine a furry getting buzzcut along their entire body, so they had short horse-fuzzed-fur* but the fur was left regular length to make a cute pattern. Incidentally I got the 'HUNTER' pattern if you'll notice the 'saddle type' fur pattern on my back. Guess the horse in the background is going to test it out!
