Since i dont' have enough time to completely draw a new Conbadge for my Max suit, (because I have 2 more badges that are priority first from the FA conbadge offer) and getting ready for MFF in two days, i rushed together a new badge a couple of nights ago using an older picture of Max from last year. To find me at MFF, i will be wearing this badge and my Scrolling LED badge at the con! :)

I think the first thing I think when I see this is "BODY BY JAKE."
And given the amount of femboys that happen to practically LITTER FurAffinity, I can wholeheartedly respect you for drawing something like this. ^ ^
[That smile there kind of giving that look of "No. This is all natural."]
Going to the background there..well I happen to believe that because you have a darker background there, it helps to make the foreground stand out more. [As you know, lions do have more of a tawny color there. Unless there's a blue lion somewhere in the world that I wasn't told about.]
And once again do you happen to use that texture like fill here on the fur..but this time it's also used on the mane as well. As unlike in Nbowa Shisho's picture that you did, I can't see a black outline on it at all. And that happens to be seriously amazing in this picture! As it's like.. just a colorful mane of hair there that's to be taken exactly as it's seen! [Rather than look like it was drawn in as it would be if there was a black background.]
Seriously speaking, I find that this picture it came out pretty damn well myself~!

Thnaks for the comments :) i somtime do pics with the black outlie and some without. Usually when the caracter is in the same contrast level as the background colors, i tend to keep the "ouline" , especially on some of the more cartoony art i have done. It varies from poc to pic. :)
