I know the pain all to well... I am so sorry or your loss and am sad that all I can offer for comfort are mere words that seem to do nothing more in aiding the pain. Just know, you will see him again. When we truly loved someone, be it fur, scale, feather, bald, when they have effected both our lives and theirs, they will never really be gone. They will simply be waiting for us on the rainbow bridge.

oh man, that feeling after every single rat goes... why must such a wonderful species live such a short time? But even with all the pain we feel when one passes, we know that we'll do it again... and again and again and again... to experience all the joy such tiny fuzzballs can bring.
